I have to say from a mechanics point of view, Mongoose are a pleasure to work on. They pay attention to the 'little things' like stainless steel spokes, decent hubs with good quality bearing surfaces. Cable pinch bolts which don't slip, brake blocks that stay were you put them... the list goes on. In fact we chose the Mongoose Rockdile for our shop hire bikes because of their comfort and reliablity.
